I cannot even begin to fathom how many times I’ve been inspired to not only write but to write, again. Even after being plugged into tech for longer than most, it still intrigues me that I have any interest left at all—especially after spending an entire decade of my life doing nothing but writing. From drafting to editing and eventually managing, it consumed everything for so long that I started to wonder whether the glimmer had died out or not. At least for my own story.
Then again, after being around this long, I’ve cycled through all the familiar motions: Which domain name should I use? What will I write about? Do I care how many visitors the site gets? The short answers: yes, I finally found a name I’m content with; I’ll write about anything and everything; and no, I honestly don’t care about the vanity metrics attached to this virtual notebook. Maybe it’ll become a long-term therapy session—or, better yet, a simple and inexpensive way to publish my own thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
Stick around to find out. That’s exactly what I plan to do.
